Het Kwaad zit in alle mensen horen wij vaak zeggen. Gedeeltelijk is dit ook zo, maar toch is er een bron aan te wijzen van waaruit het Kwaad zich manifesteert. legt Jordan uit dat een ieder vatbaar is voor demonische invloeden; dat dit een sluipend proces is wat in kleine stapjes kan worden doorgevoerd. Kennis nemen van hoe dit werkt en je op voorhand tegen dit soort gedachten te verzetten, geeft bescherming. We hebben het dan over gedachten van haat, lust, bitterheid, jaloezie, begeerte etc. Als wij ons hier niet tijdig tegen te weer stellen dan kan er een demonische invloed over ons komen die steeds groter kan worden.

Spiritual warfare (geestelijke oorlogsvoering) is een belangrijk wapen hier tegen.

Eerst zullen wij dus aan onszelf moeten werken alvorens naar anderen te wijzen. Oordelen of anderen veroordelen is niet aan ons, de waarheid onthullen en weigeren mee te werken aan kwaadaardige zaken, wel!

Enkele definities:

demons: disembodied spirits of the Nefilim looking for a fysical vessel to do their evil work.

Nefilim: the off-spring of Fallen Angels and earthly women (Genesis 6).

Fallen angels: John writes, “[Satan’s] tail swept away a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth” (Rev. 12:4). Later in the same chapter, we read, “The great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him” (v.9). We know that demons exist, and they are fallen angels. Jesus even referred to “the devil and his angels” (Mt. 25:41). 

Watchers: The Book of Enoch explains in detail the 200 Watcher angels coming down from Heaven to keep an eye on the human evolution after humans were thrown out of the Garden of Eden as a result of and because of the  transgressions of the first man.  These Watchers made a convenant to interfere with humans evolution by teaching them all kinds of forbidden knowledge like for instance the art of war. Enoch was asked to counsel for them, the Watchers,  and ask for forgiveness, but The Almighty One dismissed their plea and condemmed them to the second death, the lake of fire.
